DES Daughters are 82% more likely to develop breast cancer after age 40 … Could the fact that Breast cancer in women under 50 is becoming more common be explained by the fact that the majority of DES Daughters are only reaching their 40’s now?

many thanks xx
This is a very interesting question about the prevalence of DES exposure amongst those UK women diagnosed with breast cancer under 50. We wonder about this here in Australia, too. It is frustrating also, where the government here refuses to include a question about DES exposure when women present themselves for mammograms. There has been one inroad where at DES Action NSW’s request, the group Breast Cancer Network Australia has included DES info on its website
